Draw the outline in something dark, and close it up so there are no gaps.
One creature, filling most of the picture, not touching the edges.
No words, speech bubbles or signatures — we add your name for you.
A plain white background works best — not a colour, a pattern, or a drop shadow under the drawing.
Tall or square beats wide — a wide picture ends up small on screen.
At least 800 pixels on the long side is ideal — phone cameras and drawing apps do that easily. Under 400and we'll ask for a bigger one.
